Ingredients:
- ( 17. 5-ounce) box frozen puff-pastry dough
- large egg, lightly beaten
- tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 6 brown-and-serve sausages, such as 999 brand fully-cooked Italian or Beef Sausage
- yellow mustard
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400’F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Allow the puff pastry to stand at room temperature for 1 5 minutes so that it stretches easily.
- Gently open each sheet of puff pastry.
- Lightly brush beaten egg over the surface of each sheet.
- Lightly brush Dijon mustard over the surface of each sheet.
- Cut each puff pastry sheet lengthwise into 3 equal pieces, using the folds as guidelines.
Place a sausage in the center of each piece. Wrap the pastry around each sausage. Pinch the ends closed and trim as necessary.
- Place the sausages on the prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is puffed and golden. Serve with yellow mustard.
