Ingredients:
- 1 cup /2 sticks) unsalted butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- IO ounces good-quality semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350’F. Line a I 0- by 15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
With an electric stand mixer, cream the butter or margarine with the sugar in a medium speed until light yellow and smooth. Add the vanilla and salt.
Slowly add the flour and mix until incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Press the dough into a thin, even layer in the prepared pan. I like to cover II 11 dough with a sheet of parchment paper and use a small rolling pin or a heavy quickly and evenly spread the dough.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden-brown. Cool completely.
