What you’ll need (ingredients):
- 1 c. water
- l/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary
- 1/4 tsp. tarragon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 lemon slices
- 3 lbs. salmon steaks
Combine water, lemon juice, onion, spices and lemon slices in a saucepan. Simmer gently for 20 minutes. Wash and dry salmon steaks. Place on a long sheet of foil; bring up edges of foil around fish. Pour sauce mixture over fish. Completely enclose fish in foil, crimping foil to seal the edges tightly. Place foil-wrapped fish in a pan. Bake in 375 ° oven 30-45 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Serves 8.
