Porcupine Meatballs

MEATBALLS

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground veal
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Dash of pepper

Mix meatball ingredients together to form into meatballs of 1 1/2 ounces each.

SAUCE

  • 1 (46 oz) can of tomato
  • 1 package Lipton’s Onion Soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Mix all sauce ingredients together in a large saucepan. Simmer. Drop meatballs into sauce. Cover and cook for 45 minutes.
